Yesterday was a much better day than Monday. The highlight of the day was going for supper with Karen to celebrate her upcoming 26th (AHHH! hehe) birthday. We sat and chatted in the restaurant for a good three hours. It was nice to catch up and to go see the progress that has been made on their kitchen (considering last time they didn't have a sink and the fridge was next to the front door! hehe), it's coming along nicely. Got to see Karen's crazy peach jello mould....hehe. Oh and got to see the old Mr. Mugs books! Was that ever nostalgic!

Jason and I have had a rough couple of months or so with family stuff. It seems that his family keeps having health issues and it gets hard after a while. I admit that most of these people I don't know very well, but I see the stress in Jason and his parents lives and feel sad for them. I particularily feel sad for Aunt Doreen and Uncle Jim. He was diagnosed with terminal cancer this week and that has weighed fairly heavily on my mind. Having not dealt with much death in my life it just blows my mind. What do you think and feel when you know that you have such a short time left on this earth??? Having only been married for one and a half years, I can't imagine losing Jason, how hard that would be. Makes me sad to think about. It sounds like Jim and Doreen are handling it well so far, but I know Jason's dad is taking it pretty hard. I really hope and pray that this will allow an opportunity for Jason and I to share our faith with his family. I can't imagine how hard it is to go through something like this without the strength that only God can provide. *sigh* Please remember us in your prayers.
