I did something today that I definitely haven't done for the last 5-8 years. I went for a bike ride! I decided it was much too nice out to just sit inside. So I went downstairs and pumped up my tires (they were totally flat) and went for a ride. Man is that ever hard on the bum. I need one of those old bike seats like my parents bikes have. They are as wide as most people's bums so that they don't bruise your bum bones. I did buy a gel seat cover last year and I think that did help. It sure felt weird getting on that thing after so long of not riding it, but as the old cliche goes, you never forget to ride once you learn.
PS - I bought the jean jacket and I like it!!
