Shoppin'

Yesterday after work I went shopping. I decided a while back that I would like to get a new dress for the 2 weddings that I am attending this summer. I went to the Midtown a couple of days ago just to look around and found out that dresses are not really the 'in' thing this season, it's all about printed skirts with solid coloured tops. I didn't find anything exciting at the Midtown, so yesterday after work I went to the Centre mall. I went into Ricki's and tried on a couple of skirts with about 7 or 8 different tops. I really liked one that I tried on, but the skirt was $40 and the top was $20 and that was just more than I wanted to spend, considering I would probably need to find new shoes to go with that outfit. So I put the outfit on hold and decided to keep looking. I looked in a couple more shops, before coming to Suzy Sheer. I ventured in and looked at quite a few things. I probably went to the change room with 8-10 dresses, skirts and tops. I tried them on and nothing worked....then I tried on the very last one and boy was it ever cute. I got it on and it was a little too big, so I got a smaller size (isn't that a great feeling when you need a smaller size), and it fit just perfectly. And it was only $30. It is a white dress with kind of embroidered pink flowers on it, approximately knee length, halter style top....absolutely adorable :) I am so happy I found it, now I just need to find some white shoes to match it...or maybe pink shoes, but I would probably get more use out of white shoes than pink ones.
