Book Tag

1. Number of books I own: I counted my book shelf, which contains a mixture of school books and novels and whatnot. I did not include cook books or year books, or photo albums which are also on the book shelf. I came up with about 70 books. I know that I probably have at least 10 or so more at my mom and dad's from my university days, but they don't count because I will probably NEVER look at them again.

2. Latest book(s) I am reading: I finished one yesterday, and I am currently working on re-reading the Fellowship of the Ring.

3. Last book I read: I finished reading a book called 'when joy came to stay' by karen kingsbury yesterday. What a heartwrenching novel! I was on the verge of tears for a good part of that book, but it does end happily :)

4. The last book I bought was: I don't remember (not counting text books for school)...I think it may have been Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix....that was in June of 2003 I think. I know that the next book I buy will probably be Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince which is coming out on July 6th! Can't wait!

5. 5 books/book series' that mean a lot to me:
i) The Bible - though I have not read it as much as I should lately...
ii) Lord of the Rings Trilogy
iii) Harry Potter Books
iv) The Chronicles of Narnia - All 7, tho the Voyage of the Dawn Treader and the Silver Chair are my favorites.
v) Left Behind series.

I guess those are my 28 favorite books ;) hehe...
