It's Been a While

It has been a while since my last post. But not too much is new in my life. Just getting up in the morning, going to bed at night, and filling the hours between with precious time spent with my husband, a little work here and there, playing Sonic the Hedgehog (I'm hooked!) and some reading. On Friday, Jay and I went to Costco and got a membership. Up until this point I thought you had to be ‘special’ in some way to get a membership. I did not realize that anyone can walk in off the street, as long as you have a driver’s license and $50 plus GST, you can sign up. I know that when Costco first opened, the memberships were a little more exclusive, but not anymore. We purchased only 4 things, hot wings, jam, croutons and vitamin c, but we definitely will be going back for a few things that you just can’t buy anywhere else, or the other things that you can buy other places, but are a much better price at Costco. Like hamburger buns. I hate when hamburger buns are too small, and the burger hangs out past the bun….well the buns at Costco are HUGE and have sesame seeds on them, and for 16 buns it’s only $2.50! Jay and I paid $3 for 6 buns at IGA that were similar :P
