Just Pluggin' Away

It's been a while since my last post. Not a whole lot is new or terribly exciting in our lives.

We are definitely leaning towards heading out to Jasper for our summer holidays. I have been in touch with a travel agent who should be able to help us to arrange some accessible accommodations around that area which should minimize the stress of planning the holiday. He is away on holidays until mid March but said he would be happy to help us out once he is back.

I can't believe it is March first tomorrow! The last two months have just flown by in a blur. Not that we have even done all that much to make the time pass. I guess as you get older time just moves at a quicker pace. Or it seems that way anyway...

I have still been working out. I had decided to start over with the 30 Day Shred since I had given up on doing it straight through the first time. I did eight days straight on level one and really felt I was ready for level 2. I did level 2 on Friday and it definitely pushed me to a different level of work out. I took yesterday off because I had planned to get together with my sister to work out today and thought I might need the rest. I will be back at level 2 tomorrow morning.

On Friday I did a bit of shopping and picked up two more Jillian Michaels DVDs. They are called Banish Fat Boost Metabolism and No More Trouble Zones. The first is an intense cardio workout. It is 40 minutes (plus 5 minute warm up and 5 minute cool down), that involves seven 6 minute circuits. The second DVD is a similar set up but instead of cardio it is resistance training. I skimmed through both of them on Friday to see what I was in for (I had an idea after reading reviews online). They are both pretty hard core!

My sister and I tried Banish Fat Boost Metabolism tonight. Wow, what a workout! I was quite proud of myself for sticking through most of it, but I really petered out on the last two circuits. I honestly don't know if I have ever sweat that much in my whole life. It felt good though and I will definitely be doing it again.
