Kiwi is very smart! She hasn't peed or pooed in the house since Saturday and she seems to always go stand by the back door when she needs to go out. I thought it would be harder than this. I think the toughest part so far is the change in schedule. She has only gotten up once or twice at night so far and has gone right back to sleep each time after going outside to go to the bathroom. So far she has been ready to get up at 7am, which really isn't too bad.
I have taught her to sit for a treat already! Last night we gave her a bath and she was SOOO fluffy afterwards. She let me blow dry her and everything. She also made a few high speed laps around the bedroom. I think she likes the carpet because everywhere else in the house she slips and slides on the lino, hardwood or laminate. She seems to like her toys that we bought her. So far we have introduced her to her rope and her kong. She loves the kong. She will pick it up and throw it and go run and pounce on it and do it again. So entertaining!
I think our next task is to get her okay with wearing a collar and walking on a leash!
