Busy Day
So it's been a busy day. Started out this morning by applying for a new job at Market Mall Chiropractic clinic, there was an ad in the paper for it on Saturday. Then I went to work to do a massage. We had planned to go further check out the car we have been eyeing up, but I got called into work so that got postponed for a while. But then we went. Jay had planned to go for a test drive with me, but after a failed attempt at getting into the car, I ended up going by myself….well the salesman came with us. His name is Ryan Derksen. I called him Ryan DORKsen and it just kinda stuck, well behind his back anyways. So Jay and I call him our little dork. He is a young guy…..maybe about our age, yeah, I could never be a sales person. After I got back and we talked, Jay haggled a little, and they wouldn’t budge on it, but I guess that’s their job. That’s how they make money. By making us believe that they just CANNOT come down any lower or else they will go out of business or something :P I really like that car, but maybe we were looking a little beyond our means when we found that car. It was nice to drive, well except for the fact that I am used to driving an old car, where you can see everything around you. In new cars you really have to depend more on your mirrors than just being able to see around you. Then to top off such an eventful day, we used one of our wedding gifts, a gift certificate from The Cave. It was the best restaurant meal I have ever had. Jay and I both had steak and shrimp. The filet mignon was soooo tender, and the shrimp was better then the stuff I had at Red Lobster for mom and dad’s anniversary. Mmmmmm, I think I am going to go let it digest and watch Corner Gas!
