Today I went and signed up to start my free month at Curves. For those of you who don’t know, Curves is a workout facility for women only. I did not get to have my first work out today because they had another appointment booked, but they did get through my initial assessment. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I weigh about 10lbs less than I thought I did. My parent’s scale is off by about 10lbs because I don’t think I have lost that much weight since I moved out 3 months ago! I am not sure how accurate their form of measuring is, but I also found out that my body fat percentage is well within a reasonable amount for my age and size. It is an interesting place, well looked that way anyway. It is a 30 minute circuit training system, involving weight training as well as cardio. I think I am going to like it! Just being in there today it seemed like a nice positive place to be. Not intimidating at all! Because it’s just women, women like you and me who aren’t all skinny and perfect!!
I have another job interview on Friday. I am not getting my hopes up for this one, cause I was kind of disappointed about that last one. I have been doing some praying about this one because it is a situation where I would be independent and pay the people I work with rent for the space. So that way, even if I am not working, I still owe them rent. So hopefully if I do get this one it will be plenty busy so I am not just making money to pay rent! If you would pray about this for me, that would be wonderful!!

gone with the wind
It's really windy out there right now!
Jay's mom called last night and the phone kept cutting out on her because it was so windy and they were having a blizzard! Then his dad called later on and their power had gone out completely and they had the camp stove out making coffee and had the propane heater out to make sure the house was warm enough. And the neighbour's tree even came crashing down onto their house, but I don't think the house was damaged! Crazy April weather! April showers bring May flowers.....YEAH RIGHT!!!
I remember when Jay's dad was trying to convince us to even wait until April to get married, cause you know this is SO much better than the weather we had in January :P hehe

Back to the drawing board...
So I didn't get the new job. It strikes a blow to a person's self esteem, but I know that I did as best I could in that interview. I look at it as some experience in having interviews as I have really never had one before. Most of my other jobs have just been kind of handed to me. Work at Dance Saskatchewan has been picking up lately, but it’s still pretty slow. Maybe it’s not as bad as I thought….no it’s pretty bad. Today I have 3 appointments, one at 1:20, one at 3:40 and one at 6:00. I was thinking that I might stop into my old school after one of those appointments to see if there are any job postings there. *Sigh* grown up life eh??
