Today at work I decided that I wanted a bottle of juice out of the pop machine. I think that today's pop machines are designed for plastic bottles. Most juice is still in glass bottles. Now today when I pushed the button, and I heard my bottle of juice fall from it's position in the machine, I also heard the sound of glass breaking. Then I looked down, and there was my bottle, that wasn't broken, but obviously one of the ones above it had broken. And there was juice running all over the floor! I guess they need to redesign those machines to allow for glass bottles. I guess this isn't that exciting but I thot it was strange to see all that juice running out of the machine!! Anyway...it's supper time, and we are having steak...mmm mmm mmm!

New bylaw?
I heard on the radio this morning that the city is thinking of imposing a bylaw to ticket people who are caught spitting or urinating in public. I think that this is great! There is not much that grosses me out as much as people walking along and horking. I remember this one particular occasion sitting at the bus stop downtown by the Midtown Plaza and there were like 4 or 5 ADULTS standing around horking and spitting. I thought I was going to throw up. I got up and walked to a different bus stop around the corner just so I didn't have to listen to that! I hope that it reduces the number of people who spit cause that is just SO gross!

My true calling
I went for coffee last night with a few of my old classmates from massage school. It was good to see them all and chat and get caught up on eachother's lives. One of them is working in a chiropractic office on 8th street and said a week or so ago she had a break and was chatting with the receptionist about chiropractors. I found out some interesting information.....did you know that a chiropractor can see SEVENTY patients in a day??? SEVENTY! The way a chiropractor's pay works, is that they get paid half from the patient and half from the government. Most chriopractors these days are charging around $15/treatment, so that works out to be $30 per patient. They are making about $2000 PER DAY! I will be happy some day to make that much in a MONTH! All I have to say is I think I got into the wrong field!!

La dee da dee dum
So last night, I asked Jay, "After our wedding shower in Swift Current on the long weekend, what do we do with all our new gifts? Do we pack them away until after the wedding? Do we send them home with me to use? Or leave them for you to use?" We came to the conclusion that for the most part we would leave them until after the wedding, unless there was something super cool that we could enjoy together now!
We started printing reply cards last night for our invitations. The reply cards worked out VERY well, but when it came to printing his address on the reply card envelopes, that was another story :P We might have to resort to writing them, rather than printing them on the computer *pout*.
I think that my health is finally back to normal. After waking up with 2 sore necks in one week, a sore throat, and a cold, all is well with Angie! I am still a little bit stuffed up, but it's better than having a runny nose!!

Necks n Stuff
So I really am starting to understand the importance of my neck and how many movements you use it for even when you aren't thinking about it. I woke up this morning with a neck spasm and I have a significantly reduced range of motion. I am hoping *crosses fingers* that I don't have any appointments booked today cause I think that might kill me, honestly ;) Here I am, a massage therapist and I can't even reach to massage it myself. And I guess it's not even really my neck. It's about half way down my back by my right shoulder blade, but it hurts when I move my neck, so it's one of those muscles that comes from my back all the way up into my neck. I am having a massage today if I have to call around the whole freakin city!
I saw a really creepy movie last nite. It's called Open Water. It is a low budget movie, based on a true story about a couple that got left in the middle of the ocean during a scuba diving excursion cause the guy who did the head count before and after the trip miscounted and the couple was 5 minutes late getting back to the boat. So this movie was actually filmed in the ocean, with real sharks and jellyfish and whatnot. Really creepy, I think that would be an awful way to die!

Wedding stuff!
Maybe things will change, but for now, I have proven wrong those people who find planning weddings really stressful. There is a lot to think about, and a lot of planning to do, but if you give yourself enough time to look after booking things I don't see why it needs to be stressful! I think that Jay and I are doing well for staying within our costs as well as thinking of what needs to be done. I think currently our concern is hauling stuff out of the church on the night of the wedding. We have to get everything cleaned out of there after the wedding is over (hopefully by 1030pm), and it is going to be winter, so we are hoping to do it in ONE trip with 3 or 4 half ton trucks over to my parents house. We are hoping that we can leave the chairs at the church. We have to rent chairs and right now we are budgeting for 120 people, so that is 120 folding chairs! Pretty cumbersome! So we are hoping that we can maybe at least leave those at the church until Monday when we take them back to the rental place. But we will talk to the church soon about that. If we can't do that, we might look into renting a U-Haul trailer to haul them.
Oooooh we hired a photographer :) Went with Rachel Neville from Studio 5th Avenue! If anyone is looking for a wedding photographer, I recommend her. She is really passionate about photography, and her prices are a little lower than most. But just so you know, wedding photography is REALLY expensive. I had NO idea until we started looking into it. If you think you will hire a professional for less than $700, it probably isn't going to happen. I was pretty shocked to find it out, but I guess you just need to figure out what is important to you when determining the wedding budget!
